The Naz Discipleship Place was born out of the Naz day shelter that is at the Joplin First Church of the Nazarene in Joplin Missouri.  The Naz day shelter is a place two days a week where the homeless can come for a hot meal, showers, clothes, toiletries, and a warm smile and conversation.  The Naz day shelter is also pet friendly, to some, their pet is their only friend or family they have.  While we are the hands and feet of Jesus at the Naz day shelter, we are teaching those at the Naz Discipleship Place during recovery that they too can be the hands and feet of Jesus as well.
